This position is for a Phlebotomist in an acute care hospital setting. The role requires adherence to established safety protocols and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Experience with Epic and Beaker electronic health record systems is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Collecting blood samples from patients according to established procedures.
- Accurately labeling and handling blood specimens for transport to the laboratory.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals (nurses, physicians, etc.).
- Using electronic health record systems (Epic and Beaker preferred).
- Potential to float between sister facilities within the hospital system.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) license in California.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience (first-time travelers will be screened).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with Epic and Beaker electronic health record systems.
Special Considerations:
- Potential to float to sister facilities.
- Facility allows one call-off per two-week pay period.
