The Parambil team brings together deep clinical and statistical expertise with cutting-edge technology. Among our founding members are a former McKinsey and QuantumBlack product lead, the former Head of Medicine at both Yale and Stanford, and a data scientist from a leading fintech company.

The Role

Parambil is hiring a Software Engineer to bring our revolutionary technology to the tort law world.

The ideal candidate loves people, loves technology, and is excited about all things law, health, and AI. They will join us in our Flatiron office in person.

Responsibilities

This isn’t a “cog in the machine” type of role. As an engineer on our team, you’ll:

• Own product features end-to-end — from design and implementation to deployment and iteration
• Work directly with the founders and other senior team members on core decisions
• Contribute to architectural and product discussions early in your career
• Write clean, scalable code across the stack
• Help us ship fast, learn from users, and continuously improve the product
• You’ll have real responsibility from day one and the support to grow quickly.

Qualifications

• A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
• Solid foundation in programming fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, OOP)
• Experience with Python, Typescript, and React
• Experience building with foundation models (projects are acceptable)
• Strong communicator and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
• A builder’s mindset — you care about shipping things that matter

Preferred, not required

• Internship or personal project experience
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP)
• Git, CI/CD, or basic DevOps familiarity
• Contributions to open-source or university projects

Compensation:

• $60K-$90K + equity
• Health insurance, 401K, and unlimited PTO
