Job Description

The FIG Investment Banking team is looking for a Vice President to join their growing team in New York. The VP will support senior bankers deals on execution across FIG and is responsible for providing client relationship management and investment banking advisory services. This is a great opportunity to join a highly successful team within Banks and Spec Fin.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination of various processes, including capital raises and advisory transactions
• Perform due-diligence on Financial Institution companies, including generating and managing financial and operational diligence requests, discussing diligence requests with management and employees, and performing detailed analyses on private financial information
• Help prepare and contribute to deal pitches including idea generation and identify, research, and analyze M&A and financing opportunities
• Perform research and various analyses in support of new business generation
• Mentor junior staff on execution
• Conducting industry and company-specific due diligence related to transactions
• Interact with corporate clients, private equity firms, venture capital firms and senior bankers

Qualifications:

• 6 plus years minimum of experience as an investment banking analyst/associate in FIG
• MBA or equivalent graduate degree in a financial discipline
• Current or recent Financial Institutions industry experience
• Series 63 and 79
