Adecco is looking for candidates who thrive in a outdoor environment for this Entry Level General Labor job with a local client, in Manteca, CA, and we are hiring immediately A Cellar Worker is responsible for various tasks within the wine cellar, including operating equipment, cleaning and sanitizing, and performing wine movements. They need to be able to follow instructions from supervisors, work independently, and potentially work in confined spaces like tanks. Here's a more detailed breakdown: Responsibilities: + **Follow instructions:** Carry out tasks as directed by Cellar Leads, Supervisors, and Winemakers. + **Operate equipment:** May be involved in various cellar operations, including receiving grapes, using crushers and presses, experience operating **manual transmission** trucks (class C) and operating bottling lines. + **Cleaning and Sanitation:** Clean and sanitize tanks, equipment, and the cellar environment. + **Wine Movements:** Perform wine transfers, rack wine, and make additions as needed. + **Confined Space Work:** May need to climb into tanks for cleaning or lees removal. + **Physical Demands:** Involve lifting, climbing, and working in varying temperatures. + **Safety:** Adhere to safety procedures and wear necessary personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses and proper footwear. Requirements: + **Knowledge:** Experience operating manual transmission (Class C) + **Skills:** Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and potentially work in confined spaces. + **Experience:** While some experience is helpful, it may not be required. + **Physical Abilities:** Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs, work in various postures, and work in a potentially dusty, loud environment. + **Personal Protective Equipment:** Must be willing to wear safety glasses, head/ear protection, and proper footwear. **Pay Details:** $19.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
